Week 4 of school. Had some thoughts over the weekend but lost the mood to blog about them just now.
went on the Singapore Flyer last friday! Interesting experience but the weather wasn't very good and it was quite boring actually. Haha, I think someone was quite sad that we didn't get a cabin to ourselves. haha, he fell asleep towards the end of the ride I think. Hmm... I think its better to go up there in the day where the views might be more fantastic but nevertheless, the view of Singapore at night is still quite pretty! and taking the flyer is a once in a lifetime experience. It costs about one dollar per minute on the ride, luckily we got discounted tickets. haha.
After the Flyer, we went to Sheares Bridge to watch fireworks! From France, I think. Super pretty! and the view from Sheares Bridge is superb! Fireworks are pretty! I like... I miss being able to see fireworks from the windows of my house...
Had tuition on Sat.. haiz my cousin isn't doing well in his tests. I'm a lousy tutor... but how!!?!! At least I'm doing it for free. I think I'll feel alot worst if I was getting paid..
Anyway, watched Money no enough 2 with bengs, vincent, andrew, jf and cheryl at PS in the evening. I thought it was more about kinship and their relationships with their mother rather than about money. I think if I were the mother, I would have chosen to die too rather than getting the 2 bags of blood and living and being treated like shit by her 3 children. Haiz, I don't want to live to a ripe old age if I'm sick and dying. Just like I think I would rather someone pluck off my life support when I'm brain dead or in comatose. Which reminds me! I saw this book called "Mercy" by Jodi Picoult in MPH on Friday! It's about a husband who loved his wife so much that he killed her because she was suffering from cancer and there was no cure or sth and she didn't want to live anymore and she was the one who begged to die...
ok back to saturday evening. haha. had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market with the movie crowd minus Cheryl plus Micho, Yanlin and huiping! Ate till I was very very full... Then went to the arcade cos Micho wanted to play bishi bashi but we were all mesmerized by this "money-eating" machine near the entrance. haha. It's quite agonizing to watch cos the sweets move little by little. haha. I think one might as well go to a departmental store and get the soft toy, might even be cheaper. haha.
Beijing Olympics is over! No more shows to watch on TV when I'm bored at home...
